Local Photographers, Honest Light
Northlight Photo Tours was started by two Lisbon-based photographers who kept watching visitors wander the miradouros at noon, in the flattest light of the day, and miss the city at its best.
How Northlight Started
It began as a favour for a friend visiting from Porto: a 6 a.m. walk from Graca down to the river, chasing the light before the tour buses arrived. That one walk became a weekly booking within a year, and Northlight Photo Tours now runs routes across Lisbon, Sintra, and the coast at Cascais.
What We Believe
Three things guide every tour we run:
- Small groups, always six guests or fewer
