What to Pack for a Half-Day Photo Walk

Guests always ask what to bring, so here is the honest list — no affiliate padding, just what actually gets used on a half-day Lisbon walk.
Camera gear
One body, one versatile zoom (24-70mm equivalent is plenty), and a spare battery. Lisbon's cobblestones and hills are hard on tripods with wheels — a compact travel tripod is fine, you will not need anything heavier.
Footwear
This is the one guests underestimate. The calcada portuguesa paving is beautiful and slippery, especially after rain. Trainers with real tread, not sandals.
Everything else
A light jacket even in summer (river wind picks up at sunset), a lens cloth, and a portable charger. We provide water for the group, so you can leave that at the hotel.
